In maths we have been solving problems involving addition and subtraction.

e.g. 6 people are on the bus
Stop 1 - 4 people get on
Stop 2 - 8 people get off

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside...

A wonderful day was had by all on Tuesday, at Weston Super Mare...

In the morning we visited the sand sculpture festival and were impressed by the magnficent designs and the intricate work of the sculptures. Inspired by this, the children took part in a workshop led by an expert, who revealed exactly how it was done.

Lunch and ice cream on the promenade...

The weather conditions were great, for an afternoon of kite flying and playing on the beach.
